The Department of Electrical, Federal University of Mato Grosso Engineering (UFMT), on the initiative of a collective of teachers, has made efforts to establish a collaborative research environment with the International Neurosciences Institute of Natal Edmond and Lily Safra – RN. As a complementary part of the actions already delivered has today (10), the UFMT, the researcher Renan Cipriano Moioli for the workshop “Neuroengineering and Brain Machine Interface”. The activity will be from 14pm to 18pm in the auditorium of the School of Architecture, Engineering and Technology (Faet), aimed at teachers and students interested in the subject and connected to the courses of Electrical Engineering, Medicine and Biology.
For tomorrow (11), from 08h30 to 11h, is scheduled restricted discussion among teachers that will be part of the collaboration, with the aim of listing lines of research or research projects to be developed through this partnership.
The researcher Renan Cipriano Moioli has a doctorate in Cognitive Sciences by the Centre for Computational Neuroscience and Robotics at the University of Sussex, UK, where he also served as tutor in various undergraduate courses and graduate. He has experience in the area of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, with an emphasis on computational neuroscience, signal processing, information theory and autonomous robotics.
